Square Dancing(广场舞)is a kind of exercise performed with music in the squares,plazas or parks.In recent years,it gradually becomes popular especially among middle-aged and retired women.Every morning or evening,dozens or even hundreds of Da Ma are dancing together with popular and rhythmical music.Due to its low cost and ease of participation,it has been estimated to have over 100 million practitioners, according to CCTV, the country's official television network. Where there are square,there is square dance.There was a news even reported Chinese Da Ma dancing in the Louvre square of Paris.

However, square dancing has been the subject of considerable controversy due to complaints of noise pollution in the evening or morning hours. Some side against it,while others enjoy.Da Ma also come out some solution to their noises,for example,they dance with earphones.

Whatever,square dance has been a special view in China.
